Mudita – Sanskrit or Pali word meaning Sympathetic Joy. It is one of the Four Sublime States in Buddhism. It is the opposite of jealousy.  This state is not the absence of being jealous.  Rather, it is the proactive state of being genuinely happy about someone’s good fortune.
